Quality Assurance

.The Quality Assurance System for Degree Programmes (first-cycle, second-cycle and single-cycle degree programmes) is designed to support the continuous improvement of educational provision and student services. Degree Programmes are key actors in the University’s Quality Assurance System and contribute directly to the design, implementation and evaluation of study programmes.

Quality Assurance for Degree Programmes covers:

  • the design of learning objectives and study pathways, developed in collaboration with stakeholders through the Advisory Board;
  • the delivery of teaching, and the management of services and resources supporting students;
  • the monitoring of educational outcomes and subsequent self-assessment. These activities are carried out by the degree programme Review Group (GdR–CdS), which analyses available data and indicators to assess programme performance, identify strengths and critical issues, and propose improvement actions. They result in the Cyclical Review Report (RCC) and in the analysis and commentary on the Annual Monitoring Report (SMA).

The outcomes are shared with the Degree Programme bodies and translated into corrective and development actions, in line with the University’s policies and strategic planning. This contributes to the ongoing enhancement and overall quality of the educational provision.
